Day 82 - HELP!

I'm guessing you were not expecting to see a picture of my feet. Sorry! While I was thinking about tonight's post I glanced down at my feet. They were looking back at me screaming, "HELP!". My poor poor feet are in desperate need of a little spa love. Thankfully, my friends and I are going out this weekend for pedis and Starbucks. YAY!

What color I should paint my toesies??? Blue? Purple? Red? Black? Gold? Post-pedi picture to come! I know you are super excited ;)

Day 81 - Sweethearts

These two had the best time hanging out this past weekend.I had to post another picture of our two sweethearts! They are so cute!

Day 80 - Ole'

Avocados. J was not amused. We will try again tomorrow. In the meantime, mama enjoyed a little guacamole for dinner tonight. 

Day 79 - The things we do...

to our children. They LOVE having their pictures taken. They love it even more when it involves props, such as bunny ears! We had a great family photo shoot with My Woman. She also took some really cute pictures of the kiddos. More pictures coming soon...

Day 78 - Summer cut

Every spring/summer Molly gets her summer cut. We enjoy not having to vacuum every other day or picking up tumbleweeds of fur off of the kitchen floor. Of course, this only lasts for a few weeks. It's amazing how fast her fur grows back!

Day 76 - Lets play together

My Woman and sweet Ella are in town for the weekend. If you do not already know our babies were born 5 days apart. We were actually due on the same day and no, it was not planned! Our kiddos are destined to be BFFs (and who knows maybe they will be something more years down the road...wedding bells perhaps? We can dream, can't we?). Day 75 - It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Hallelujah! Spring is here. Well, at least for today. We wasted no time and took a nice long family walk around our neighborhood. Josh sat in his big kid stroller (he's busting out of his carrier). Lots of people were out and about, which was so nice to see. Hopefully this is the end of being cooped up indoors.

Day 74 - Sweet dreams

This is how our little one loves to sleep. His hiney in the air, arms tucked under his belly and usually feet crossed. It's just so stinkin' cute!

Day 73 - Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Our little boy is 1/2 way to his 1st birthday! Seriously, where has the past six months gone?

Day 72 - Birthday feast!

Tonight, we celebrated Bachan's birthday at Maggiano's. Family style is the devil! We ate way too much food and should have stopped after the main course. But how can you turn down scrumptious looking dessert? Happy Birthday, Bachan!

Day 71 - Lets play ball!

Today, we spent the afternoon in spring training with our Miracle League baseball team, the Jaxx. You could not have asked for better weather! Josh had a great time watching the kids play. We are happy to be back with the Miracle League. Last year, we were busy with our big move and baby's arrival so we had to take a break from volunteering. This season E is an assistant coach and I am a team buddy. Oh yeah, TK is an assistant coach for the Red Sox (hehehe - I love saying that and she does too). Our first game is next Saturday and the season will run through May. Lets go JAXX!!!

Day 70 - Fascinated

Josh is absolutely fascinated with P and had the best time watching his every move. It is so much fun seeing Josh being interactive with other kiddos.

Day 69 - Love your face

How could you not love this face? This picture was taken last weekend at the mountain house. The lighting was perfect, Josh was fed and in a great picture taking mood! I may be a little biased, but he is one photogenic baby. He can make a picture look great even when he's screaming.

Day 68- Happy St. Patty's Day

It's Josh's first St. Patrick's Day! Hooray for being Irish! It is also Bachan's birthday. Happy Birthday, Bachan!

Day 67- "It's just a water bottle"

That's what E said to me when I expressed interest in buying a SIGG water bottle. "But it's so cool! And I promise to use it all the time!" A year and a half later I have one :) It was my Valentine's Day gift. YAY! Happiness is SIGG. Not only does it look cool (IMO), but it keeps beverages cold, does not sweat and is the perfect size (fits in most cup holders).

Day 66- Until we meet again!

Sadly, it is time to leave this peaceful place. The mountains certainly have a relaxing affect on people, even on the baby! J slept through the night. It must be the mountain air. So, we leave this beautiful place and hope to return very very soon! Thanks, Michi and David for a fantastic weekend!

Day 65 - Disconnected

How are we surviving the weekend without our blackberry's? It is strange being without the electronic leash for a couple days. However, it feels a bit freeing (not really liking that word, freeing, but we'll go with it). Alright, onto today's picture. We took a short walk to the river's edge on the hunt for wildlife. Hoping to see otters we came across a cute bear instead...

Day 64 - A beautiful day for a walk outside...

We took a lovely walk along the New River today. Josh enjoyed being outdoors. He was looking all around at the trees, birds, etc. The weather has been great, even though it was supposed to be nasty all weekend. It has been a very relaxing weekend so far.

BTW...we have been experiencing technical difficulties with the internet access, so my posts are coming a few days late. More to come...

Day 63 - Weekend Getaway

We're spending the weekend with Michi and David in their new mountain house. This house is amazing and we cannot wait to spend more time here.

Day 62 - Vino, please

E and I have been on a vino kick. It's fun picking out a bottle of wine. What's our technique? There is no technique. If the label looks cool or the description sounds yummy or the price is right we are likely to try it. We are far from being wine connoisseurs! TK suggested trying the "moon" series of wine at Trader Joe's. Honey Moon Viognier is a white wine, light, fruity and great with pasta or fish. Tonight, we paired it with stuffed flounder (also, by Trader Joe's). One word: fantastic!

Day 61 - Boston bound

TK is spending a long weekend with her family in Worcester. A very well deserved break from the daily grind of work and law school. Before we took her to the airport we grabbed a bite to eat. She spent some quality time with Josh...E and I too (but lets be honest she loves some Josh time). He loves his Auntie TK so much!

Day 60 - New house guests...

We would like to welcome our new house guests! A mama bird (pictured above) and her baby have made a cozy home on our front porch.

Day 59 - AHHHHHHH!!!

Have you been on Hillsborough Street lately? What a mess. That's really all I have to say about that.

Day 58 - Daddy's boy

J is definitely a daddy's boy. He has been babbling, "dadadadadadadadada!" and E loves every minute of it. I'm only slightly jealous. No, it really is just the sweetest thing!

Day 57 - Six years and sushi

Today, Eric and I celebrated our anniversary. Six years! Where has the time gone? It's crazy to think that we have been together for over 13 years! To celebrate our anniversary we ate at the BEST sushi restaurant in Raleigh, Waraji (Bachan approved). We split a variety of sushi (see below) . Oishiikata desu nee!

Day 56 - Ladies Night

TK and I had a fantastic time tonight! We started with dinner at Cuban Revolution Restaurant and Bar. Great food! Awesome sangrias! After dinner we headed over to the DPAC to see Spring Awakening, a rock musical. Another great performance at the DPAC!

Day 55 - Do a little dance

Boys club meets every other night for bath time. They have such a fun time laughing and singing. The best is the post-bath song and dance, which I captured here:

Day 54 - and I was running!!!!

E purchased this Nordic track treadmill on the SAS bulletin boards for a steal! It's great not to have to think about going to the gym. I roll out of bed and walk down the hall. Now I have no excuse not to exercise!

Day 53 - Fun-n-games

While E attempts to defeat world 5 on Super Mario Bros (he's been working at it since Christmas) Josh is loving his exersaucer. I seriously cannot get over how much he enjoys this thing. It was well worth the money!

Day 52 - Morning Commute

The Doyle Three commute to work and school together a few times a week. I always enjoy these rides with my boys. The ride usually starts with Josh looking like this...
