Day 173 - One of those days

Do you ever have one of those days where ice cream makes everything better? Well, I definitely had one of those days...sigh. I heart McDonald's vanilla ice cream cones! .99 of yummy goodness.  

Day 172 - Ja ja jammin' on the one...

Josh has a new love! Grandma and Grandpa D found this toy and could not resist. Like most toys it lights up and plays music, which equals AWESOME in J's book! He's having a great time jammin' on the keyboard and dancin'.

Day 171 - New Addition!

Congratulations to the folks over at Cornbread Nation! Mason is perfectly perfect! 

Day 170 - Grumpy boy. Crazy hair.

Who takes a picture of their kiddo after waking up from a nap? ME! Check out his crazy hair, not to mention his not-so-nice face. I don't have to post happy baby pictures all the time. Josh does have a grumpy side to him :)

Day 169 - Delizioso!

Josh enjoyed some pasta tonight! Little by little we are introducing new foods. Next up...tofu!

Josh discovered Auntie TK's tattoo. He has quite some time before he can even think about getting a tattoo. If he does get one I hope it is the word "mom", with a heart around it ;) Hahahaha. Only kidding...kind of.

Day 157 - Magic touch

Josh and I had lunch today with my good friend, Allie. The last time Allie held Josh he was about a week old and he slept in her arms for almost two hours! He melted in her arms again today. I could not resist taking this picture. Too sweet!

Day 156 - Upgrade

We waited long enough. Josh is finally in his big boy car seat. 

Day 156 - GO SOX!

Josh is a well-loved and lucky lil' boy. Auntie Robyn sent him another Sox baseball cap. Poor kiddo comes from a long line of big heads and outgrew his baby Sox hat pretty quickly. His new hat will definitely last him a little longer than 8 months :) Thanks, Auntie Robyn! Josh is sending you big, slobbery, open-mouthed kisses. GO SOX!

Day 150 - Cruisin' down the New River...

Before we hit the road we took a short trip down the New River. What a great way to end a wonderful weekend!

Day 149 - River race!

We spent today watching the 4-H New River Canoe and Kayak race. Here are a few pictures from the race! The race is 5 river miles and the best time was 47 minutes. E and I plan to enter next year :)

Day 148 - Peace and quiet.

While the boys slept I enjoyed a quiet morning on the porch. Coffee, a good book, and the soothing sounds of the New River. It doesn't get much better than this.

Day 146 - WAAAAAAA!!!!

Josh is two weeks old in this picture. BUT this is what he did most of last night until 4am this morning. For the past couple of weeks he has had a runny nose (nothing new there) and has developed a cough (oh joy). We took him to the doctor this morning, convinced he had yet another ear infection. Guess what? NO EAR INFECTION (knock on wood)! We were so relieved. The night of fussiness can be blamed on his cold and a new tooth coming in. Here's hoping for a peaceful night. Sigh.
