"All done", one of kiddo's favorite sayings. Well, that's what this blog is - ALL DONE! I set out to take a picture a day for 365 days. Although, I may not have followed it to a tee I feel pretty good about what I accomplished. The pictures above were taken a year apart. I love looking back and watching kiddo grow from a sweet baby to a walking, talking toddler. We've had a fun year and look forward to many more to come! I hope you've enjoyed this blog. Day 364: Better late than never

I'm sure everyone has been dying to know where I've been and why I haven't finished this blog (especially when the finish line is in sight)? Well folks, it's been a helluvacrazy couple of months. I've been struggling to find time to post to my blog(s). If anyone has any suggestions or answers on how to actually achieve work-life balance please feel free to share! Anywhoo...as the old saying goes, "better late than never". Here are a few pictures from the past month.

I am usually pretty cautious when it comes to posting pictures of myself. This one is pretty funny. It was taken at the NHL All-Star Fan Fair. It's my don't-mess-with-TokyoMama-game-face.



Back in the day my hottie hubby played hockey. Although, he was not a goalie he does look mighty fine in the spidey helmet.

Kiddo loves to sweep. Seriously. I didn't even have to show him how. He's a natural.

Kiddo loved hanging out with his uncles. We were so happy that Ry could visit with us after the holidays.

Day 363: Just Dance or Just Laugh?

or how about both? These blurry pictures were taken on New Year's. We've had so much fun playing Just Dance 2 (the latest and greatest for Wii). I haven't seen moves like these since the good ole' days of the Old Bar. I apologize for the horrible picture quality, but the boys were shakin' their tailfeathers...as you can see...

Day 362:So long, farewell...

Mom, dad and kids hit the road early this morning. We had a great time catching up this week. It's hard to believe that it may be 6 months or so before we see them again. Ugh.

Day 361: Happy New Year!

Every year we celebrate Japanese New Year at my Bachan's. I cannot think of a better way to ring in the New Year than spending time with my family and feasting on motherland fare!

Days 352-354: Iowa invasion!

Day 351: The end of an era

All of our UNC adventures came to an end today as we celebrated TK's last day!!! This spring is her last semester of law school, so she will pour all of her energy into finishing up and moving on. HOORAY!!!

TK - I am so glad you accepted that job as a temp :) Thank you for sharpening all those pencils and still wanting to be friends with me...hehe. Six years later we have a beautiful, amazing friendship...and you've got a super adorable nephew who just adores you.

Day 350: Feelin' a bit noggy

NC State has Howling Cow Ice Cream, milk...and during the holidays NOG! Sweet, yummy, soon to be bourbon filled goodness!!

Day 349: WOO! WOO! WOO! WOO!

Although, it's been a few weeks since this picture was taken I just had to add it to my blog. We took kiddo to his first hockey game. He loved all of the cheering, noise and music. We had a great time with the W's. I LOVE this picture of Auntie B and J :) LETS GO CANES!  

Day 348: I like to draw drawings

I love receiving pictures of kiddo enjoying his day at school We received this one and it just made me so happy. Gosh, I love this kid.

Day 347: Budding Builder

Mega blocs and Legos - these are kiddo's newest loves, in addition to anything with wheels. Thanks to his Uncle Ant and cousins his collection has moved into this large container...a first of many I am sure.

Day 346: BRRRRR!!!

Kiddo and I love our super warm and snuggly motherland housecoats! We're keeping toasty on these cold wintry evenings.

Days 330 - 345: Hooray for the holidays!

I know! I am a BIG ol' SLACKER! I have good excuses. Promise! We're busy gearing up for the holidays. My family comes to town next week (weather permitting). I cannot wait to see them!!! Here are some pictures from our trip to Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm and the W's Holiday Party.
