Days 259 - 268: Whew. Whirlwind week!

It's been a busy and hectic week. We celebrated birthdays, enjoyed the company of my family and friends and put in a full week of work. Needless to say I have not felt like blogging this week. Sorry! We'll catch our breaths some time! In the meantime, here are some pictures from the birthday weekend! Enjoy!

Day 254: Not happy.

This is Josh. Josh is unhappy. Why? Because he can't take his baby legs off. So, he decided to follow me around the room until I took them off for him.

Day 251: WEEEEE!

E snagged this little tykes slide off the SAS bulletin boards for $10! Not too bad. Now, who do you think will have more fun? 

Day 250: Best seat in the house

Don't ask. I'm not sure why J prefers to sit on a rubbermaid container, rather than a comfy chair or blanket. 

Day 249: Seek and destroy

Josh loves to flip his toys upside down, especially if they have wheels. He's like a little engineer trying to figure out how things work. Not only does this keep him busy for a few minutes, but it is super cute to see his determined expression on his face.  

Day 248: Snot, Sneezes, and Sniffles

Josh has another cold. Boo. This one came on strong and fast over the weekend and doesn't seem to be going anywhere. So, the snot rags and booger-getter-outer are back. Bleh.

This plaque is dedicated to the 1970 Marshall football team, who lost their lives in a horrible plane crash on their way home from a game played in Greenville.

climber. He has been quite the adventure-seeking lil' toddler (to be). He loves to climb on the rubbermaid container, then onto E's drumcase. He even put together his own obstacle course. 

Day 244: Blue Dog

This is blue dog. Blue dog is a very popular toy in J's class. This is the toy that is teaching the kiddos the fine art of sharing ;) J jumped to the opportunity to play with Blue Dog this morning. Thanks for the picture, E :)

Day 243: A few steps...

Josh has taken one to two steps in the past few weeks. Tonight, he decided to go a bit further. We are so proud and excited! 

Day 242: Football family

I give it up to the W's! They have season tickets for both ECU and NCSU football. Every weekend they are either in Dowdy Ficklen or Carter Finley. Two tailgates, two football games...that's not a bad deal! I also must give mad props to their son P. He has been attending sporting events since he was 6 months old and is such a good boy! He LOVES sports and is a lot of fun to be with...and he's only 3 years old! Hopefully, his good behavior will rub off on Josh :)

Day 241: Arrrrggghhh you ready for this?

When you're a Pirate you use Arrrggghhh every chance you get. Of course, I could not help but use it in the title of this post. Doesn't E look adorable?

Day 238: YAY for Auntie!

I love this picture of Josh and his Auntie TK! They're so happy to see each other. Auntie is looking forward to spending more time with her little man next weekend.

Bath time is quite an event at our house. J LOVES bath time! You can see the excitement in his smiley face.
