Day 328: Slide, AGAIN!

Although, we were only at the park for a few minutes it was great to be outside! The boys had a blast! 

Day 327: Sushi Night!

My rockin' the mini cousin is starting her own sushi business and gave us lessons on how to make sushi. This Japanese girl had no clue how to do it. It took my Gaijin cousin to teach me. HA!  We had a blast! Thanks, mini mama for having the patience to teach us! You did a fantastic job. My Bachan is so proud.

Day 326: Leftovers!

This picture reminds me of the MTV show, Cribs (you know when the celebrity gives you a look-see in their fridge). Except I'm no celebrity and my fridge is full of food, specifically leftovers from Turkey Day. YUM!

Day 322: Ho Ho Ho...

I know what you're thinking...whoa! It's only November 22nd and your kid has seen Santa? That's right. But guess what...no lines, no crowds. In fact, we had Santa all to ourselves. It was GRRRREEEATTT!!! Kiddo LOVED meeting Santa. He was all hi-fives, giggles and smiles.

A HUGE thank you to the folks at Carolina Preserve (Grandma and Grandpa's community) for bringing Santa in for one night!

Day 313-319: I'm a slacker.

YES, I am a slacker. Life has been pretty hectic this week...work, sick kiddo, etc. Anyway, here are some pictures from this week!

Day 312: Night out continued...

Watching E rock out last night was definitely the highlight of the evening. But it was also nice to have a night out with friends! TK and I enjoyed catching up over wine and sushi. MMMM. We met up with the A's and Chris at Motorco for E's show. After the show, we ended the night with a pitstop at Whiskey, a cigar bar, in downtown D-ham. 

Reality was knocking on the door this morning and yelling, "Hey C! Guess what? You're no longer that 20 something who can stay out until 3am." I am glad to have had that time in my life, but now know that I do not want that life anymore. Thankfully, J was at his grandparents so we were able to sleep and ease into the day.  Anyway, last night was good fun!

                                     

Day 311: Rock out!

Tonight, I watched my hubby rock out! It's been too long. I'm so proud of him. What a great show!

Day 309: Just the two of us

You'll rarely see a picture of the photographer. Well here I am. It's not a great picture, but it will work. Anywhoo, kiddo and I are spending lots of good mama-son time together tonight and tomorrow night, while dad is rehearsing with the band. If you haven't heard he's playing with the Mercators . There is a big show on Friday night at Motorco in D-ham. I can't wait to see him play!

Day 308: Fall Festival!

We enjoyed fall fest at J's school this afternoon. There were lots of fun stations, good food, and music. Josh especially loved shakin' his shaker!

I always manage to capture more pictures of the back his head than anything else. It is cute :)

Days 302-306: Where did it go?

The weeks are flying by! I took a short leave from the blogging world to focus on a conference and to enjoy a weekend getaway to the mountains.

Day 301: Family time

Family time is priority. I think we do a really great job of making sure we spend quality time with kiddo before sleepy time. It's a special time. No cell phones, computers, calls, etc. Although, I had to capture this picture. BUT I put the phone down as soon as I took it. Anyway, I'm heading out of town for a few days and thought this was the perfect picture for today's post. I'll be missing these two so much!!!
